Technician / Quality Inspector – Clutch Rework Project (Immediate Start) Location: Sheffield, S26 Duration: 2–3 weeks minimum (potential to extend) Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 Start Date: Monday 23rd March (Immediate Start Required) Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour About the Role We are recruiting experienced Technicians – or 2 Technicians plus 1 Quality Inspector – to support a clutch rework project with our client, Schaeffler UK Ltd. The team will be responsible for repairing and reworking vehicle clutches, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe handling of components. The work is hands-on and requires strong mechanical knowledge. Key Responsibilities Repairing and reworking vehicle clutches to required standards Inspecting clutch components for defects or quality issues (Quality Inspector role) Using lifting tools and equipment where required Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently Following site procedures and maintaining high quality standards Requirements Proven experience working as a Technician or Quality Inspector within automotive or mechanical environments Ability to repair and rework mechanical vehicle parts Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions Physically capable of handling heavier components (lifting tools provided) Available for immediate start and committed for the duration of the project What We Offer Competitive pay at £17.56 per hour Straightforward Monday–Friday daytime hours Opportunity to work on a specialist automotive rework project Support from a dedicated recruitment team throughout your assignment How to Apply If you're an experienced Technician or Quality Inspector looking for a fast-start contract, apply now with your up-to-date CV
